Brought home: November 2002
Type: Normal grey (split to pied) cockatiel
Sex: UnknownBackground:
Cricket is the newest member of our little flock, and our first cockatiel. We got him/her from a nice couple that lives near Montreal who hand raise cockatiels. And they raised him/her very well. Cricket is very sweet and tame, and truly is the sweetest little bird. We named him/her Cricket because the breeders who raised him said that he was a very special little bird that always liked to hop around and was the first bird out of the cage, and they nicknamed him/her ‘Grasshopper’. We thought Grasshopper was very cute but decided on changing his/her name to Cricket.Fun Facts:
Cricket is very sweet and tame, and loves to be petted and touched. He/she doesn’t play with the budgies because he/she is still afraid of them, but Tigger always likes to fly to his/her cage to say hello. Cricket loves seeds and pellets, and loves to eat honey sticks and millet. He/she likes to spend time with us, and usually cries when we leave the room. Cricket also likes shiny things to chew on like bells and toys and especially the little metal band on Lori’s elastics in her hair. Cricket is a wonderful sweet little bird, and he/she is a welcome part to our little family.
