Lori-Lee Thomas was born on January 17th, 1983. She grew up in a small town called St. Paul’s River, Québec, Canada. Having been born in Newfoundland and only an hour from the Labrador border, Lori was very influenced by her childhood, especially her father’s profession of being a fisherman. Having wonderful parents who provided an inspiring childhood, Lori Thomas strives to work her way into children’s illustration.
When Lori was three years old, she drew her first recognisable image: A daisy. Over the last two decades she has developed her drawing and painting skills. She has received her D.E.C. in Visual Arts at Champlain Regional College, Lennoxville, Québec and was considered to be one of the top students in her class. She now resides in Lennoxville, attending her first year at Bishop’s University in Fine Arts in her goal to achieve her B.A. in Fine Arts as well as Honours in Studio Arts, which is by far her strongest field.
