Whisper:

Whisper was adopted in February, 2001 for Lucie (Cadie & Charlie's grammy) from a pet store in Belmont, Mass. He was her birdday -- um, birthday -- present! He is a "Greywing Skyblue" budgie.

Whisper and Cadence are the best of friends. They enjoy kissing and playing together, and are always so happy when they have a date!
Kiwi was adopted on Monday, June 24, 2002 by Lucie (Whisper's mom) from a pet store in Salem, NH. He's just an itty, bitty bird!

As the above picture clearly shows, Kiwi is a "Harlequin" budgie.
This picture was taken on Kiwi's first day in his new home. He and Whispy became friends right away!

Whisper likes Kiwi a lot. He kisses him, snuggles him, feeds him, and shows him how to get around. What a nice big brother he is!
The pet store managers provided my mom with a new bird of her choice on July 24, 2002. He is very sweet and cute, and the vet says he is in good health. He is very active and outgoing! We love him lots. :-)
Isn't he precious???
We think this bird is a dark green, aka "Laurel", budgie.
Look at me! I'm a smart budgie!
Rebecca promised Ray a budgie for Christmas in 2001, and finally brought him one on June 26, 2002. What a late gift!
Here he is, safe and sound in his new home. He has no name yet, but he is a "Skyblue" budgie.

Reggie is Charlie and Tommy's brother. The three of them are from the same clutch. Reggie (like Tommy) is hard to photograph because he doesn't want to sit still -- he only wants to snuggle! So this is the best photo of him that we have for now.Reggie is a normal gray cockatiel with a few white feathers on the back of his head. He hatched in May 2001 and is living with Ken & Bev again, until he can find a new home.

These are Tommy, Charlie, and Reggie's parents. Their mama is on the left (yes, her right wing is damaged, but she's ok) and their papa is on the right. Look at their plumage -- it's no surprise that they have such beautiful babies!

This is the first breeding bird that Ken and Bev ever had, and her name is Mama. She's Tommy, Charlie, and Reggie's grandmother -- how many generations back, we're not sure! Mama is a wonderful, special bird. When she was in her breeding years, she would take care of other cockatiels' eggs and hatchlings, like society finches do. What a good Mama. :-)This photo was taken at the end of June, a couple of months before she went to heaven on August 10th, 2002. She will be missed so much by her family and flock... Sleep well, dear Mama.
